112RESCUE to feature road safety training, protective clothing fashion shows and a varied stage programme
Show at Messe Dortmund to include several symposia and interactive events from 26 to 28 June 2025
Since launching in 2023, 112RESCUE has established itself as a central industry meeting place for organisations, public institutions and businesses in the fire safety, rescue, disaster control and civil defence segments. Next year will once again bring numerous (new) events and demonstrations to the 'blues-and-twos' show. Exhibitors can still register for 112RESCUE on early-bird terms until 30 November 2024.
Dortmund, 27 November 2024 – The third 112RESCUE show will be held at Messe Dortmund between 26 and 28 June 2025. As well as a wide variety of exhibitors from the fire safety, rescue, disaster control and civil defence segments, visitors can look forward once again to a comprehensive supporting programme. Presenter Marcel Kilic, well-known for the Blaulichthelden emergency response podcast, will compère the supporting programme on the Main Stage in Hall 6. The focus during all three days of the show will be on up-to-the-minute topics such as extreme weather events, the future of procurement and practical tips for communications in everyday and crisis situations.
It's back – the largest civilian tactical medical care event
The Tactical Situations in Emergency Services symposium organised by publishers s+k Verlag is the largest civilian tactical medical services event in the German-speaking world and will again be held to coincide with the show on 26 June 2025. Workshops will also be held at Messe Dortmund on the eve of the event. The focus will be on threat scenarios such as violent crime and the threat of terrorism as it affects emergency services. An extra ticket will be required for the symposium and the accompanying workshops. Further information is available at taktik-rettungsdienst.de.
Central meeting point for emergency response organisations
Numerous decision-makers in the fire safety, rescue services, disaster control and civil defence segments are also expected to attend other events being held within 112RESCUE. These will include the meeting of the Association of Professional Fire Department Directors in North Rhine Westphalia (AGBF NRW). As in previous years, this will take place on Day 1 of the show. The Medical Services Conference for Rescue and Emergency Responders is aimed at people involved in providing medical care in rescue and emergency scenarios. The programme includes specialist presentations and workshops.
Interactive demonstrations and protective clothing fashion shows
The German Road Safety Council (DVR) will be exhibiting for the first time at the show, putting the focus, as one would expect, on road safety. The association will be bringing along heavy equipment, including a truck roll-over simulator and a 'seat belt convincer'. The training offered by DVR for emergency response driving will include a mobile driving simulator to help develop strategies for handling stress more effectively. The upcoming 112RESCUE will also feature another first as professional personal protective equipment (PPE) manufacturers exhibiting at 112RESCUE have the opportunity on Friday and Saturday to present their products to show-goers in several fashion shows. The aim is to show the public the variety of protective equipment on offer for specific deployment scenarios or for youth fire brigades. Exhibitors who have already registered can find out more on the participation conditions from the Messe Dortmund team.
