  • WORKSHOP 3: Ventilation using JetFlow

    Speaker:

    Dr. Andreas Jerrentrup

    DRK Rettungsdienst Mittelhessen

    What you can expect:

In the context of preclinical resuscitation, it has been shown that, in addition to chest compressions and defibrillation, ventilation and thus the oxygen supply to the tissues are of crucial importance. Especially in resuscitation situations before professional help arrives, it is essential that laypersons are also able to provide effective ventilation assistance. This is where the innovative concept of the Jet-Save ventilator comes in. To maximise its effectiveness in public areas, it is necessary that the device offers a user-friendliness comparable to that of an AED defibrillator. We present the considerations, the technology and the project. We want to discuss and exchange opinions with you and become part of an innovative project. We bridge the gap between the first responder and the professional emergency services.
