WIR Award - Women in Rescue

The Women in Rescue format is represented at the 112RESCUE trade fair for the second time. The aim is to promote the visibility, appreciation and parity of women in the rescue and fire department. On Saturday (June 8) at 12:15 pm, the WIR Award will be presented on the Women in Rescue Stage in Hall 4. An honor for an outstanding personality for their courage, dedication and commitment in the field of rescue and emergency response.

An exemplary commitment or achievement should be honored. This should serve as an inspiration to all.

The WIR Award, which comes with a cash prize of €500, recognizes achievement and contribution to society. The award should also serve as a role model for others to become actively involved in society.

The nomination period has ended. The award winner will be announced on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 12:15 p.m. on the WOMEN IN RESCUE Stage in Hall 4. State Secretary Dr. Daniela Lesmeister will present the WIR Award.
